1. Purposes for which personal information is collected and used
- Management of BIC and its research projects
2. Items of personal information to be collected
- Name, e-mail address, educational background, work experience, and other information provided by the applicant
3. Consignment of the handling of personal information
LG Energy Solution consigns the handling of personal information collected through BIC.
- Consignee: LG CNS Ltd.
- Consigning work: System maintenance and repair
4. Retention period and destruction of personal data
The Participant’s personal information shall be held by LG Energy Solution for 5 years after the end of the application period, for the management of LG BIC and its research projects.Any personal information will be deleted without delay, when the retention period expires or the purpose of personal data processing is achieved unless retention of such personal data is deemed necessary or mandatory by law or contract with a third party. The personal data in paper will be disposed using the paper shredder. The personal data in the form of electronic files will be deleted which preclude any restoration of such data.
5. The Participant, a subject of personal information, has a right to reject the collection of personal data. In case of rejection to give consent, the Participant will not be able to participate in LG BIC and its research project.
6. The personal information collected by LG Energy Solution here under shall be collected and handled in compliance with the guidelines of LG Energy Solution and Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other related laws.
7. In case personal information that is not open to the public must be included in the proposal and the data subject does not agree to the disclosure of such information, the personal information controller must delete or make the data subject’s information unidentifiable before submitting proposal.
Full Terms and Conditions
1. Confirms that there is no confidential information of any third parties included in the Research Proposal.
2. Acknowledges that the Research Proposal is not subject to confidentiality, and for the purpose of LG BIC, the Research Proposal may be disclosed
to the public or a third party
3. Agrees that if LG Energy Solution decides to fund submitted Research Proposal, the specific terms of contract will follow the guidelines of LG Energy Solution, and all rights and obligations are subject to the Research Agreement which will be contracted with LG Energy Solution.
